Multiple configuration possibilities
Countless configuration options allow to combine the most varied requirements of designers and architects in addition to complying with fire protection regulations. In this regard, Picco & Martini has developed an avant-garde border to border fireproof product called Vision Line for passive fire protection to respond to the evermore demanding architectural demands that have arisen over recent years.This is a solution which allows to create large size fireproof structural glazing without any vertical mountings. The system uses side by side modules thus allowing for maximum creative freedom in the design of the partition. Vision Line has already been certified for its compliance with European regulation EN1364 and conforms to a class of up to 120 minutes. In addition to fire resistance or firewalls, the glazing can be matched up with structures which call for special anti-vandalism/anti-tampering features which can withstand manual tampering (UNI EN 356) and can also be enhanced by the use of bulletproof glass (UNI EN 1063) or blast resistant glass (UNI EN 13541).

Pyrobel
Fireproof glass which complies with the fire safety regulations in a range of classes: EI/EW 20–30-45-60-90. Used for walls or partitions and with steel, aluminium or wood closing systems. On request we can make products for exteriors with direct exposure to sun rays and with UV protection. We also offer a special structure for horizontal use together with glazed walk on flooring. As prescribed by the regulations, in addition to glass we also supply structures/products which comply with the certified specifications.
Salient features:
- Transparent layer with no internal metal plates.
- Increased light transmission equal to float glass of the same thickness.
- Immediate opacification of the glass panes to facilitate panic free and risk free evacuation from a building.
- Higher soundproofing performance than that of double glazing.
- Certified for large measurements.
Pyrobel T
Fire rated glass specially developed for EXTRA LARGE SIZES / XXL large formats in the different classifications EW 30-60-90-120 and EI 30-60 in sizes larger than 2×4.5 m. Used for partition walls and locking systems with different frame structures.
Salient features:
- Intumescent gel structure.
- High light transmission (LT = 87%), higher than float glass of the same thickness.
- Immediate opacification of the glazing which allows the building to be evacuated without risk and without panic.
- Acoustic insulation superior to that of a double glazing.
- EXTRA LARGE SIZES / XXL certification.
Pyrobelite
Firewall glass which complies with the fire safety regulations in a range of classes: EI 20–EW30. Used for walls or partitions and with steel, aluminium or wood closing systems. On request we can make products for exterior use.
